Late Mr. Balasaheb Jagtap He is the founder of the business group in 1975.  He is the visionary who encouraged to set up the new Business Line of Solar Energy and Energy Management. He had worked in Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd for 15 years. He started as a draftsman and reached up to position of Tool Room Incharge. 

With the encouragement and inspiration from Late Shri. Shantanurao Kirloskar, he resigned from the service and started Business in year 1975. From a small business in rented premise of 500 Sq.Ft. he increased the business to well equipped CNC machine shop supplying major and critical parts required for Tractor Engines, Genset and Heavy Locomotive Engines to customers like Kirloskar, Cummins, Mahindra etc.

Dr Unmesh Jagtap has a Mechanical Engineering Degree from India and has done Master’s Degree from University of Florida, Florida, Gainesville, USA , under the Guidance of one of the renowned Researcher in Solar Energy, Dr. Yogi Goswami.

Also awarded Doctorate in Solar Energy 

from University in France. 

He has industry experience of more 30 years  in Design & Manufacturing of  Precision Parts and Sub-Assemblies, Solar PV Modules and as a System Integrator for designing and implementing various projects in Solar PV Power Plants, Solar water Heaters, 

Domestic Wind Turbines, Wind & Solar Hybrid  Systems and Energy Solutions.

Mechanical Engineer with Master’s Degree from USA and Doctorate from France in Solar Energy. Innovative thinker with broad based expertise in Mechanical Engineering, Solar Energy, Energy Management & Business Development along with a strong Research background. Proven ability to quickly analyze key business drivers develop strategies to grow the bottom line.

• Research – Worked as Research Assistant under under the Guidance of one of the renowned Researcher in Solar Energy, Dr. Yogi Goswami, in University of Florida’s Solar Energy & Energy Conservation Laboratory. Research done on Experimental Evaluation and Theoretical Modeling of Solar Optical Properties and Shading Coefficients of Compound Fenestrations.

•   Expertise – 

1. Manufacturing of Solar PV Modules and as a System Integrator for designing and 
2. Implementing various projects in Solar PV Power Plants, Solar water Heaters, Domestic Wind Turbines, Wind & Solar Hybrid  Systems and Energy Conservation Solutions. Have completed assignments like setting up a PV Module Manufacturing Plant, EPC of Solar PV Plants from 1 KW to 1000 KW and Consultancy for Solar PV and CSP Plants.
3. Manufacturing of critical components on CNC Machines with Process Design, Tooling Design  ( Jigs & Fixtures ) and Quality Systems like Six Sigma, PPAP, APQP & SQC.
4. Design and Development of Assemblies and Special Purpose Machines from Concept Stage to Production Stage.
5. Have developed more than 100 components for OEM’s like Cummins, Kirloskar, Mahindra, Perkins and completed 7 Six Sigma Projects in Line Balancing and Development of parts as an Import Substitute.
